Data & Calculations

A plain-language guide to what Resonance Lab calculates, what is maintained by hand, and what is just commentary.

Current issueEffective 03.10.2026

Echo Analysis

Echo evaluation uses the selected Resonator, recommended main stats, entered substats, roll-value efficiency, total Echo cost, and loadout completeness. A standard evaluated loadout contains five Echoes and totals 12 cost. Incomplete or under-cost loadouts receive explicit completeness warnings and penalties; over-cost loadouts are invalid.

Team Analysis

Team scores use role coverage, element interactions, and configured synergy rules. Teams with fewer than three selected members are capped at 60 after modifiers. Only explicitly typed Chain effects of owned Resonators that are marked for team synergy can change the calculation; descriptive Chain prose is not interpreted as a rule.

Astrite Forecasting

The timeline combines user-entered Astrite, Tides, pity, guarantee state, subscriptions, Tower progress, and eligible configured events within the selected date window. Pity carries only between limited banners sharing the same pool type. Standard banners are not included.

Account Fit

Account fit compares active maintained teammate recommendations with the Resonators you own. An eligible owned Core or Strong teammate produces Supported; Alternatives alone produce Partially supported; configured recommendations with no eligible owned match produce Zero account synergy. Missing recommendation or Resonator context is Not evaluated. Recommended weapon ownership is reported separately.

Roast Lines

The verdict on each evaluation is picked from a set of pre-written lines based on your score band and build. A line only appears when what it says matches your build, and the same build always gets the same line. Roast lines are commentary only; they never affect scores or calculations.

Editorial Content and Updates

Descriptions, recommendation explanations, and roast lines are editorial. Calculations only use typed fields and structured rules, never the wording of that text. Game data is updated by hand after patches, so it can briefly fall behind. If something looks out of date or wrong, please send feedback.
